11/05/05 10:34 p.m. David Alan Zelonis, 18 years, of Charlotte Hall, was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a motor vehicle accident on southbound U.S. Rt. 301, south of Sub-Station Road.
An officer was going to take Mr. Zelonis to the Charles County Sheriff's Office on Sub-Station Road to wait for someone to pick him up. Mr. Zelonis was patted down for officer safety. The pat down revealed suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
He was arrested, charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. TFC R. Lemerise conducted this investigation.
