On 10-27, 10:41 PM, Calvert Beach Rd., St. Leonard, TFC Keen stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon contact with the operator, Michael Harry Coyle, 18, of St. Leonard, TFC Keen detected the odor of suspected marijuana. A search was conducted and 2 CDS smoking devices were located and seized. On 11-1, Mr. Coyle was charged on a criminal summons with possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.
On 10-31, 11:45 PM, TFC Keen was conducting a routine patrol check when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the Rock Church, St. Leonard. Upon contact with the occupants, TFC Keen observed suspected loose marijuana on a backseat passenger. He was removed from the vehicle and a suspected marijuana cigarette was recovered. Arrested at that time for possession of marijuana was Brendan James Evans, 18, of Lusby. After processing, he was incarcerated in the CCDC to await a commissioner's hearing. TFC Keen was assisted at the scene by TFC Huber and DFC R. Wilson.
