Yes, You Can Still Get Arrested for Disorderly Conduct


On Nov. 1 at 1 a.m., Officer J. McGuigan responded to a residence in the 600 block of Piscataway Court in La Plata for the disorderly person report. Upon arrival, Officer McGuigan attempted to speak with Charles Antonio Proctor, 26, of La Plata, who became disorderly and refused to comply with the officer's orders to lower his voice. Proctor was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
