On September 23, 2005, Timothy Alan Mauck, 31, of Lusby was charged with one count each of second-degree rape, sex abuse on a minor child, incest and perverted practice, and two counts of second-degree sex offense.
The victim, a 6-year-old girl, told her mother on September 23rd that she had been sexually assaulted at Mauck's home. The mother then placed a call to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office to report the incident. Police spoke with the girl, then remanded Mauck into custody for questioning, where Mauck confessed to sexually assaulting the child.
Mauck is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on November 11, 2005. He currently remains in custody at the Calvert Detention Center, in lieu of $250,000 bond.
