Three Waldorf Men Busted for Drugs


On Oct. 24 at 9:13 p.m., Cpl. C. Schmidt conducted a traffic stop on a 1998 Ford Explorer on Acton Lane near Tawny Drive in Waldorf for a motor vehicle violation.

When he approached the vehicle, Cpl. Schmidt smelled an odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed the driver and passengers were in possession of marijuana. The driver - William Evans Paden, 18 - and the passengers - Oneil Calvin Foster, 21 and Kendrick Ramone Bowden, 18 - all of Waldorf, were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Paden was also charged with two motor vehicle violations.

They are being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
