On Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m., members of the Charles County Sheriff's office Tactical Response Squad observed two men standing near the woods in the 4200 block of Drake Court in Waldorf.
When officers approached the men, one man dropped a bag which was found to contain suspected marijuana. Officers identified the men as Andre Kevin Howell, 21, of Washington, D.C., and Donnell Christopher Gray, 23, of Waldorf and a search revealed they were in possession of marijuana and Howell was in possession of crack cocaine.
Howell and Gray were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Howell was additionally charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Cpl. J. Jones and PFC J. Piazza investigated.
