New Jersey Fugitive Located in Waldorf


On Oct. 12 at 9:23 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a residence in the 3100 block of Heathcote Drive in Waldorf after a citizen called to report Christopher Daryl Hailey, who was wanted in New Jersey, was at the residence. Officers located Hailey, 40, of no fixed address, confirmed he was wanted and arrested him. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and is being held at the Charles County Detention Center. He was wanted for violating parole on charges of assault, resisting arrest and eluding. Cpl. J. Miles investigated.
