10/08/05 - A warrant was served on Carlton Wray Hallums, 38 years, of White Plains, for possession and distribution of child pornography. On February 10, 2005, the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Section executed a search warrant on Mr. Hallums residence.
As a result of the search warrant, numerous computers and removable media were seized for forensic analysis. The forensic analysis revealed 5,912 files (images/videos) of child pornography located on Mr. Hallums computers and removable media.
Mr. Hallums was charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. He was incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. TFC S. Murphy served the warrant.
