On October 3rd, 2005, while conducting a separate investigation, Detectives from the St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) learned of a possible sex offenses occurring between young teenage females and adult males in the Lexington Park, St. Mary's County, Maryland area.
The investigation led to the identification of three females ages 13-14 and two male suspects ages 19 & 20. Detectives located one suspect, identified as 20 year old Jaime Alfredo Valle-Barrera, on October 12th, 2005 at his residence in Lexington Park, MD. As a result of the investigation, he was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with one count of 2nd Degree Rape and one count of 2nd Degree Sex Offense. He is currently awaiting his appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
The 2nd suspect has yet to be located and detectives learned he has possibly fled the state of Maryland.
