Waldorf Woman to Compete for Miss Maryland USA


Tonya Marie Zugg, 23 of Waldorf will compete for the title of MISS MARYLAND USA 2006 on November 4th, 5th & 6th, 2005 at the Marriott North Bethesda Hotel & Conference Center in N. Bethesda, Maryland. Miss Zugg is the daughter of Robert Zugg and Nancy Jackson. She attends the University of Maryland University College and her activities and/or hobbies include horseback riding, softball, traveling, shopping, watching football, and drawing. Her sponsors for the pageant are Homes & Land Magazine, Moe's Rolling Crabs, Neibauer Dental Care, Next Flight Aviation, Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill, Luxury Transportation, William Tucker Photography, and Kay Whittington. Tonya graduated from Westlake High School in 1999. She is currently working toward obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in legal studies and a minor in communication studies.

The MISS MARYLAND TEEN USA and MISS MARYLAND USA pageants are the Official Preliminaries to the MISS TEEN USA , MISS USA and MISS UNIVERSE pageants, owned and produce by Donald J. Trump and NBC Television. The young woman chosen as MISS MARYLAND USA 2006 will go on to represent the state of Maryland in the 2006 MISS USA pageant as seen LIVE on NBC television, one of the most anticipated television events of the year.
