On Oct. 5 at 1 p.m., a 16-year-old Waldorf boy was walking down the stairway of an apartment building in the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf when five males approached him and assaulted him. The suspects punched the victim knocking him to the ground, then kicked him, searched his pockets and fled the scene on bicycles. Nothing was stolen and the victim refused treatment for his injuries. The suspects are described as four black males and one white male, all between 16 and 18 years old. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. Burroughs is investigating.
