The Bureau of Criminal Investigations has been made aware of a scheme that again is taking place in St. Marys County. The scam is described as a suspect responding to a known victims home and request money for transportation or some type of emergency that does not exist. In the case of this newest scam Detectives have identified the suspect but none of the current victims have come forward. The suspect is described as a white male, 5-10, 185lbs, brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 28 years old and his last known address is Chaptico, Maryland. The scheme is taking place in the 7th District and North end of the County. Citizens are argued to use caution in giving financial aid to anyone who may arrived unannounced to their residence.
