ChesBeach Man Doesn't Get the Message the First Two Times; Arrested the Third Time

On Tuesday, Sept. 20 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Dep. C.J. Childress arrived at Harrison Blvd. in Chesapeake Beach for a fireworks complaint. The suspect, Joseph G. Grello, Jr., 43, of the contact address, was asked to quiet down. Dep. Childress was subsequently called back to the same residence at 1:45 a.m., where he again advised suspect Grello to quiet down and that if units had to return a third time, the suspect would be arrested. At 2:01 a.m. Dep. Childress responded a third time to the same address and was advised by the complainant that Grello had a machete. No weapon was found, however, suspect Grello was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
