Road Rage in Prince Frederick


At 7:29 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, Cpl. Anthony C. Moschetto responded to the intersection of Md. Rt. 4 and Dares Beach Road in Prince Frederick in reference to a traffic accident involving an assault. The victim indicated that a white Ford Ranger operated by the suspect, Darrell Robinson, cut him off while traveling north on Md. Rt. 4 near Rt. 231. The victim reported he made a gesture at Robinson and then was rear-ended by the suspect. After the two vehicles came to a stop at the intersection of Dares Beach Rd. and Md. Rt. 4, the victim says the suspect got out of his vehicle, approached the victim and began striking him on the side and back of the head with a closed fist. The suspect then fled the scene, however, the victim was able to obtain his tag number. Cpl. Moschetto interviewed two witnesses who corroborated the victim’s statements. Assault charges are pending.
