ROBBERY ARREST: On Sept. 10 at 9 p.m., a man approached two men at the Relax Inn at 9340 Crain Highway in Bel Alton, brandished a shotgun and demanded money. The victims complied and when the suspect chased a witness, the victims fled to their room. No one was injured. Charles County Sheriff's officers located the suspect and identified him as Juarius Michael Plater, 26, of Bel Alton. He was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner. Officer D. Sylvestre investigated.
BURGLARY: Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, suspect(s) entered a residence in the 800 block of Copley Avenue in Waldorf, stole an undisclosed amount of money and three CD music cases and fled the scene. BREAKING AND ENTERING: On Sept. 9 at 4:12 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Mutt's Bar at 4541 Indian Head Highway in Indian Head for the breaking and entering report. Investigation revealed suspect(s) forced entry into the business, stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.
