On Aug. 29 at 8:16 p.m., Cpl. L. Schmidt was in the 2500 block of Enterprise Place in Waldorf when he observed a suspicious person. Investigation revealed the person was in possession of numerous counterfeit DVDs and CDs. The person was identified as Vincente Arsenio Kyle, 22, of Waldorf. Further investigation revealed Kyle was in possession of a handgun and a knife. Kyle was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun, concealed deadly weapon, counterfeit less than $1,000, transfer sound recording for profit, selling a performance of another without consent and theft more than $500. He is being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
