Governor Ehrlich's Director of Intergovernmental Relations Set to Visit St. Mary's County on Aug 25


Leonardtown, MD—On Thursday, August 25, 2005, Adela Acosta, Intergovernmental Relations Director, Office of the Governor, will be visiting the County for a tour led by Thomas F. McKay, President, Board of County Commissioners.

The tour will provide Ms. Acosta with a closer look at the County's heritage and economy through its many historical landmarks, agriculture, and technology industry.

Commissioners and County staff will meet with Ms. Acosta on the following itinerary:

10:00 a.m. Meet at the Frank Knox Center, Patuxent River Naval Air Station for Driving Tour of Southern end of the County via Proposed Mattapany Rural Legacy Area and St. Mary's City

11:00 a.m. Arrive at the St. Mary's County Governmental Center in Leonardtown for introduction and tour of Governmental Center Complex.
