On Aug. 4 at 9:40 p.m., Officer D. Gross conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6400 block of Leonardtown Road in Bryantown for displaying stolen tags. The driver, Willis Green, 34, and the passenger, Katherine Smith Holmes, 39, both of Leonardtown, were arrested. A search of the vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Willis and Holmes were charged with possession of marijuana and theft less than $500. They are being held at the Charles County Detention Center pending appearances before the District Court Commissioner.
