Armed Robbery at Waldorf Super 8


On August 11 at 2:43 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Super 8 Motel at 3550 Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed three men entered the motel and demanded money, a Nextel cellular phone and a Panasonic telephone from the clerk, a 37-year-old Waldorf man. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the scene. A K9 team responded and conducted a search but did not locate the suspects. The suspects are described as black males. One suspect was wearing a black jersey and a black hat and has dreadlocks. The second suspect is between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds and was wearing a white shirt, jeans and silver sunglasses. The third suspect was wearing a red jersey and silver sunglasses. He was described as having a scruffy goatee and bushy hair. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer K. Klezia is investigating.
