On August 4 at 9:01 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a parking lot on Meadowside Court in Indian Head for the report of shots fired. Investigation revealed a 23-year-old Indian Head man was standing in the parking lot when a male on a bicycle shot the victim in his foot and fled the scene. The victim was transported to Fort Washington Hospital Center where he was treated for his injuries and released. The motive is still under investigation.
