Calvert Heat Pump Thief Nabbed, Did You Buy from Him?


In March of 2005 the Calvert Investigative Team began a five-month investigation into the theft of Heat Pumps from the Lusby, Md. area of Calvert County.

Cpl. Tim Fridman developed William L. Farr III, 24 years old of Lusby, Md. as a suspect. Investigation revealed the suspect is alleged to have stolen Heat Pumps from houses under construction. He then sold and installed the stolen Heat Pumps.

Based on information obtained during the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Farr. He was arrested on July 20th, 2005 and charged with three counts of theft over $500.00. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
