St. Mary's Police Reports


July 30, 2005 at approximately 0154 hours deputies responded to an alarm at Green Holly School in California, MD. On arrival one of the deputies observed a suspect inside. The suspect exited and was later located by Dfc. James Molitor walking on the roadway nearby. The suspect, a fifteen year old male was arrested and charged by petition request with burglary. He was released to his mother pending a hearing before Juvenile Authorities.

July 29, 2005, Dfc. Elizabeth Trossbach stopped a vehicle on Three Notch Rd. for a traffic violation on Laurel Grove Rd. The driver, Rickey Andrew Zalovick was found to be under the influence of alcohol and subsequently arrested. A search of the vehicle, incident to arrest, resulted in the seizure of a CDS pipe and suspected crack cocaine. While at the Sheriff's Office for processing, the driver was noticed to be chewing something which would interfere with his breath test for alcohol. Eventually two additional pieces of crack cocaine were recovered from his mount. Rickey Andrew Zalovick age 42 of Mechanicsville, MD was taken to St. Mary's County Detention Center and charged with Diving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Possession of Cocaine and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia.

July 30, 2005 Dfc. Christopher Morley observed a suspicious vehicle at Missouri Ave in Lexington Park, MD. The vehicle was backed up to a privacy fence and the gate to the fence was open. On checking he observed a shed inside the fenced yard. The door to the shed was open. The vehicle operator, Anthony Scott Thirouin, age 20 of Lexington Park, MD gave consent to search the vehicle. A small amount of marijuana and crack cocaine was discovered and seized. Anthony Scott Thirouin was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. Thirouin was arraigned before a District Court Commissioner and released on Personal Bond.

July 30, 2005 Dfc. James Molitor responded to the Brass Rail in Great Mills, MD for a reported disturbance. The suspect causing the disturbance hand left the bar but was later located walking on Point Lookout Rd near Little Flower School. The suspect, Travis Jermaine Fenwick, age 21 of Waldorf, MD was questioned about his behavior at the bar. He started screaming and yelling and walking in the roadway. He was ordered out of the road and he then quieted down. A few minutes later he again started walking into the roadway, yelling and screaming. He caused traffic to stop and wait until he cleared. He was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and taken to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he awaits arraignment before a District Court Commissioner.
