St. Mary's Police Reports


St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy DFC. Dale D. Reppel located Suspect David Alexander Paolillo age 28 of Mechanicsville and served him with two (2) District Court Arrest Warrants. Suspect Paolillo was arrested, transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with two (2) counts of Assault Second Degree as a result of charging documents filed by Deputy John J. Kirkner from a previous incident that occurred on 07-13-05. Suspect Paolillo is currently awaiting a court date in the District Court.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to Valley Court in Lexington Park for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival Sheriff's Office Deputies were advised that a man had climbed the balcony of an above apartment attempting to gain entry through a sliding glass door. The Suspect, later identified as, Justin Dewitt Carter age 22 of Mechanicsville was unsuccessful and jumped off the balcony to where officers were waiting. Suspect Carter was arrested, transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center by DFC. Dale D. Reppel and charged with Burglary 4th Degree. Suspect Carter is currently awaiting a court date.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy Michael Worrey located Suspect Pierre Antonio Butler age 28 of Lexington Park and served Circuit Court Criminal Summons on him. Suspect Butler was charged with Violation of a Protective Order, Assault 2nd Degree and Malicious Destruction of Property. He is currently incarcerated and awaiting a court date.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy Michael Worrey located Suspect Cynthia A. Evans age 45 of Lexington Park and served an Arrest Warrant on her. Suspect Evans was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, charged with Possession of CDS and is currently awaiting a court date.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy Anthony S. Zurvalec located Suspect Marvin Lydell Somerville and served a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for a contempt hearing. Suspect Somerville was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center, charged with Failure to Appear for a Contempt Hearing on 07-25-05. Suspect Somerville is currently awaiting a court date.

July 25, 2005, Dfc. Elizabeth Trossbach investigated a theft from a vehicle belonging to Cory Zeeger of Lusby, MD. The vehicle was at the residence of Harvey McKenzie of Mechanicsville, MD to be painted. While at the McKenzie residence, undetermined suspect(s) removed the victim's amplifiers, speakers, speaker box and power capacitor valued at approximately $940.00. Investigation is continuing.

July 28, 2005 at approximately 2355 hours Dfc. James Molitor charged Dawn Marie Rice age 29 of Lexington Park, MD with Theft under $100, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Tampering with an Electric Meter. The charges, by Criminal Summons were a result of investigation conducted by Dfc. Robert Merritt. The investigation revealed Dawn Rice used electric power that was unauthorized in the amount of $398.40. Dawn Rice was release pending a preliminary inquiry in District Court.

July 29, 2005 at approximately 0325 hours, Dfc. James Molitor investigated a shoplift at WAWA on Great Mills Rd., Lexington Park, MD. Suspect William Terry Proctor, age 49 of Morningside, MD removed two cartons of cigarettes valued at approximately $65.00. Dfc. Molitor charged William Terry Proctor with Theft Under $100.00 by Criminal Citation. He was released pending a preliminary inquiry in District Court.

July 29, 2005 at approximately 0630 hours Dfc. James Molitor discovered Ralph Joseph Waynick, age 46 of no fixed address, loitering in the area of FDR Blvd in Lexington Park. A check revealed Waynick was wanted by Maryland State Police for Violation of Probation. Waynick was taken into custody and turned over to Maryland State Police for transport to the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
