On July 16th, 2005 at 7:12 am, Sgt. D.C. Bowen responded to the area of 108 Westlake Blvd., Prince Frederick, Md. for a report of a suspicious person who had removed an American flag from a residence on Westlake Blvd. Upon his arrival he observed a large U.S. Flag in the back of a truck. Sgt. Bowen made contact with the person sitting in the truck. He was identified as Aaron M. Green, 18 years old of Lusby, Md. Investigation revealed Green did not have permission to be in the truck and that he had also thrown several hand tools from the truck striking the vehicle parked beside him. Witnesses identified Green as the person blowing the truck horn, yelling and screaming and the one that removed the flag from the porch.
Based on observation made at the scene, Sgt. Bowen placed Aaron Green under arrest and transported him to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Theft, Destruction of Property and Disorderly Conduct.
