PAXRVR Awards General Dynamics $10M for 42 20mm Guns for F/A-18E/F Aircraft

General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, Burlington, Vt., is being awarded a $10,000,788 ceiling-priced, firm-fixed-price letter contract for the procurement of 42 M61A2 20 mm Automatic Gun Systems for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Burlington, Vt., and is expected to be completed in January 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-05-C-0110).
