Thugs Joyride on Golf Course, Cause Over $15,000 in Damage


On June 28th, 2005 at 8:20 am, Cpl. Phelps responded to the Chesapeake Hills Golf Course located at 11352 H.G. Trueman Rd., Lusby, Md. for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) removed a golf cart from the maintenance shed and used it to do "donuts" on the 13th green. The golf cart was then driven into a pond. The damage to the green is estimated at $15,000.00 and $250.00 to the golf cart.
