Tempers Flare in St. Mary's


St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy Angela Muller responded to the report of a Domestic Assault in Lexington Park. Investigation revealed Suspect Larry Eugene Stokes, Jr., who was intoxicated, assaulted his daughter and his wife during an argument at the family home. Suspect Stokes caused other residences to come out of their homes because of the commotion and his loud voice. Suspect Stokes was arrested, transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was charged with Child Abuse, two (2) counts of Assault 2nd Degree, and Disturbing the Peace. Suspect Stokes is awaiting a court date in the District Court.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy First Class Daniel Ray responded to a residence in Lexington Park for the report of a Domestic Assault. Investigation revealed a male juvenile assaulted his mother as a result of an argument regarding the juvenile taking his prescribed medications. The juvenile was arrested and released to the custody of his mother. The case is being referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy William Rishel responded to the report of a Domestic Assault in the Lexington Park area. Investigation revealed that Suspect Priscilla Lynn Plumer assaulted her boyfriend as the result of an argument at their residence. Suspect Plumer was arrested, transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was charged with 2nd Degree Assault. Suspect Plumer is awaiting a court date in the District Court.

St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Deputy Angela Muller responded to the report of Property Destruction and Meter Tampering in Lexington Park. Investigation revealed that Suspect Michael Mitchell tampered with the electric meter belonging to the Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, causing it to fall to the ground and break. Suspect Mitchell was charged with Property Destruction and Meter Tampering through a Criminal Citation and is awaiting a court date in District Court.
