Disorderly/Assault/DUI
On June 13th, 2005 at 9:57 pm, Deputy Burggraff responded to the 300 block of Clubhouse Dr., Lusby, Md. for a reported assault and disorderly conduct report. Investigation revealed Wesley R. Kyser, 52 years old of Lusby, Md. appeared to be intoxicated when he attempted to hit a member of Ranch Estates Security. He also became disorderly during the investigation and had to be restrained by Deputies. Kyser was arrested and charged with DUI, Disorderly Conduct and 2nd Degree assault. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
Destruction of Property
On June 15th, 2005 at 11:15 am, Deputy S. Brown responded to the Solomons Town Center in front of Food Lion for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed an unknown suspect poured a corrosive substance on the interior and exterior of the victim's truck. The victim was not in the truck at the time. When he returned, he noticed a green substance on the floor of his truck. The substance made his eyes burn and made it difficult to breath. Solomons Volunteer Fire Department and the Patuxent River HAZMAT team responded to the scene. The area around the truck was decontaminated and the truck was towed to the Sheriff's Office impound lot for decontamination. Investigation continues.
Violation of a Protective Order
On June 16th, 2005 at 10:37 pm, Deputy Ward responded to the 1000 block of Rimrock Road, Lusby, Md. Investigation revealed the victim had a protective order issued and served on the suspect; William P. Mayne, 32 years old of Lusby, Md. When Deputy Ward arrived on the scene he made contact with William Mayne. He was on the property against the conditions of the protective order. He was taken into custody and charge with violation of the order. He was taken to the Detention Center and processed.
Disorderly Conduct
On June 18th, 2005 at 9:01 pm, Dfc Foote responded to Hardesty's Store in Sunderland, Md. for a disorderly person outside of the store. Joseph W. Lake, 51 years old of Sunderland, Md. was charged with Disorderly Conduct on a criminal citation and released to his brother.
Destruction of Property
On June 18th, 2005 at 9:27 pm, Dfc Foote responded to the Skating Rink located at 1990 Chaneyville Rd., Owings, Md. for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed a 16-year-old juvenile punched the victim's truck with a closed fist, leaving a dent in the bed of the truck. The juvenile was charged with Destruction of Property on a youth report and released to his mother.
