On June 16 at 8:22 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Chapel Point Road, about 100 yards east of Aries Drive, in Bel Alton for the report of racial graffiti. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted "KKK" in the middle of the street. Investigators believe this incident could be related to previous reports of similar incidents that have occurred this month at Southern Park in Newburgh and Chapel Point State Park in Port Tobacco. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted the letters "KKK" and other obscene phrases on the street.
