Racist Thugs Spray Paint Offensive Graffiti in Charles County


On June 16 at 8:22 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Chapel Point Road, about 100 yards east of Aries Drive, in Bel Alton for the report of racial graffiti. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted "KKK" in the middle of the street. Investigators believe this incident could be related to previous reports of similar incidents that have occurred this month at Southern Park in Newburgh and Chapel Point State Park in Port Tobacco. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-2222. Officer C. Long is investigating.

On June 16 at 4:30 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Mattawoman Court in Indian Head for the report of racial graffiti. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted the letters "KKK" and other obscene phrases on the street. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-743-2222. Officer E. Leukhardt is investigating.
