Waldorf: 1 Vehicle Stolen, 1 Vehicle Vandalized


Sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. on June 16, suspect(s) stole a 1998 pewter-colored four-door Chrysler Cirrus from a residence in the 2400 block of Homestead Court in Waldorf. The vehicle bears Mississippi tags 705FTS and was locked at the time of the theft.

Sometime between 9 p.m. on June 15 and 7 a.m. on June 16, suspect(s) used an unknown object to shatter the window of a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan parked in the 11900 block of Homestead Place, which is near Homestead Court. The suspect(s) also tampered with the door lock. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle.

The incidents are possibly related. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer J. Timko is investigating.
