2 Teens Brandishing Loaded Gun Rob 2 16 Year-Old Boys


On June 11 at 1:22 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to a residence in the 3900 block of Light Arms Place in Waldorf for an armed robbery report. Investigation revealed two 16-year-old boys were walking near the lake on Post Office Road when two suspects confronted them. The suspects brandished a handgun and demanded money from the victims. The victims complied and the suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, as well as the victims' cell phones and a pair of shoes.

As the suspects walked away, they fired a single shot into the air. The victims then went home to report the incident. They were not injured. The suspects are described as black males between 16 and 18 years of age and were wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer Y. Austin is investigating.
