The remaining dates for Armys most popular outdoor ceremonial program in the D.C. area will be held on the White House Ellipse at 7 p.m. on the following dates: Tuesday, June 14 and Wednesday, June 22, 29; and July 20 and 27.
Twilight Tattoo is an hour-long sunset military pageant that features Soldiers of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) troop units and ceremonial units The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps and The U.S. Army Drill Team; The U.S. Army Band Blues jazz ensemble, vocalists from The United States Army Chorus and The U.S. Army Chorale.
With more than 100 Old Guard Soldiers wearing Army uniforms of the past and present, a portion of our show is dedicated to providing a fast-paced travel through Army history, from Revolutionary times to your Armys involvement in current military operations. As a part of the Armys Operation Tribute to Freedom program, Twilight Tattoo represents more than 1.5 million soldiers and department of the army civilians serving around the world in support of the Global War on Terrorism and the cause of freedom throughout the world.
