CACI Awarded $73 Million Contract to Support U.S. Naval Aviation Readiness

Company to Support Navy Cost-Saving Initiatives

ARLINGTON, Va., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—CACI International Inc (NYSE:CAI) announced today that it has been awarded a three-year, $73 million prime contract by the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division in Patuxent River, Maryland to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) and the Naval Aviation Readiness Integrated Improvement Program (NAVRIIP). Under the terms of the award, CACI will provide program management and technical services to support Navy cost-saving initiatives in its readiness programs. The award continues CACI's legacy as a premier provider of engineering, training, and logistics solutions for Naval Aviation and significantly expands the company's core engineering and logistics business.

Naval Aviation's mission includes ensuring that all Navy and Marine Corps aircraft are ready for training, and that all aviation personnel are trained and equipped to support their mission. NAVRIIP improves processes and provides guidance and resources for meeting these readiness goals.

CACI's role includes helping NAE to enhance readiness processes and reduce the cost of doing business. The company offers demonstrated solutions for cost-effective program architectures and enterprise-wide systems integration. CACI experts will also help evaluate current polices and procedures, collect and analyze data, and identify and remove barriers to the improvement of processes, training, and resource management. The company will also support the Navy's new cost-wise readiness initiative—"AIRSpeed"—to achieve the right level of readiness at the right cost.

CACI was selected primarily for its experience working with naval aviation community on several NAVAIR contracts and programs. The company has helped to significantly increase naval aviation readiness and training while decreasing average training time, resulting in millions of dollars in cost savings. Similar efforts focused on aircraft maintenance improvements have also significantly increased material readiness.

According to Dr. J.P. (Jack) London, CACI Chairman, President, and CEO, "CACI supports the U.S. Naval Aviation Enterprise and its vital goal of improving the quality of service to the fleet. Our solutions have been tested throughout the enterprise and offer the Navy proven methods of increasing cost efficiency while sustaining the readiness of America's naval aircraft and aviators."
