Sometime between May 15 and June 2, suspect(s) spray painted an orange swastika on the Southern Park entrance on Wilson Road in Issue and fled the scene. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-2222. Officer B. Flynn is investigating.
On May 23 at approximately 5 p.m., Officer D. Benthin responded to the bike path behind the baseball field at Westlake High School at 3300 Middletown Road in Waldorf for the report of offensive statements spray painted on the fence. Investigation revealed suspect(s) spray painted the statements, one of which referred to the KKK, in an area not within view of the school, surrounding homes or any other structures. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff's Office at 301-932-7777. Officer D. Benthin is investigating.
