Drug-Related Arrests in Calvert


CDS Violation

On May 19th, 2005 at 7:16 pm, Dfc Wilson responded to the 8700 block of St Andrews Drive, Chesapeake Beach, Md. for a report of juveniles throwing rocks at cars. Dfc Wilson entered a house during his investigation and detected a faint odor of burnt marijuana. Two juveniles were located in the house as was a clear plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana. The juveniles were charged with possession of CDS on a youth report and released to a parent.


CDS Violation/Unauthorized Use/Driving while suspended

On May 20th, 2005 at 9:44 pm, Deputy Milam conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Peking Restaurant located in Chesapeake Beach, Md. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle was suspended to drive in Maryland and the occupants did not have permission to have the vehicle. Based on those facts, the occupants of the vehicle where placed under arrest. Jason J. Reed, 24 years old of Dowell, Md. was charged with Unauthorized Use of A Motor Vehicle. Camille N. Commodore, 19 years old of Lusby, Md. was found to be suspended and in possession of suspected cocaine. She was also charged with unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. Kasey NMN Commodore was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and was charged with unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle. All suspects were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.


CDS Violation

On May 21st, 2005 at 11:57 pm, Cpl Moschetto conducted a traffic stop on Rt 4 at Patuxent Point Parkway, Solomons, Md. Based on observations made during the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Cpl. Moschetto located a medicine bottle containing 3 plastic baggies. The baggies contained suspected heroin. He also located paraphernalia used to ingest the heroin. Madolynn K. Jones, 19 years old of was charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.


CDS Violation

On May 22nd, 2005 at 3:41 pm, Dfc Wilson conducted a traffic stop on Rt 261 in the area of the Navy Base. Based on observations made during the stop a search of the vehicle was conducted. Dfc Wilson located a partially burnt hand rolled cigarette containing suspected marijuana in the vehicle and a baggie containing suspected marijuana was located on the driver. Shawn W. Karis, 20 years old of North Beach, Md. was charged with possession of CDS and Thomas J. Sutphin was charged with possession of CDS. Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.


CDS Violation

On May 24th, 2005 at 9:31 am, Deputy Molder responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 40 Commerce Lane, Prince Frederick, Md. for a possible domestic dispute in the parking lot. Deputy Molder located two suspects and found a dispute had not occurred. He however, ran a computer check of the individuals and found Katherine E. Battle 34 years old of Lexington Park, Md. had an open warrant through the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. She was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed a rolled up $50.00 bill containing suspected cocaine. Battle was charged with possession of CDS and served with the open warrant.
