The St. Mary's County Recreation and Parks Board and the Department of Recreation, Parks and Community Services invite citizens to the Board's meeting of Thursday, June 2, 2005, to provide public input on the planning and future use of County property in Charlotte Hall, adjacent to the new Northern Senior Center. The meeting will be held at the new Northern Senior Center, 29655 Charlotte Hall Road, in Charlotte Hall. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. with the master planning presentation scheduled for approximately 6:00 p.m.
Information will be presented regarding site conditions, limitations and opportunities. Some of the recreational facilities under consideration for the property may include, but are not limited to, additional multipurpose fields, basketball and tennis courts and a future north county pool and multi-generational center. The site is also being considered as a potential location for senior housing.
Citizens are encouraged to attend the meeting and provide input. Written comments may be submitted to Phillip D.
