Burglary
On May 9th, 2005 at 11:14 am, Sheriffs Deputies and Troopers from the Maryland State Police responded to 395 Moonbeam Lane, Huntingtown, Md. for a reported burglary. The victim returned home to find his garage door had been kicked in. He saw a suspect run into the woods near his home and observed a vehicle at end of his driveway. The victim approached the car and asked the driver what he was doing in his driveway. The driver said he was waiting for a friend then left the area.
A description of the suspect that fled on foot was broadcast. Sgt. Bill Soper observed a vehicle at the end of Ponds Wood Road with a passenger fitting the suspect description. A traffic stop was conducted and the suspect was identified as Terrell J. Russell, 19 years old of St. Leonard, Md. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center were he was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Destruction of Property.
Stolen Auto
On May 9th, 2005 at 2:30 pm, Deputy Morder responded to the Prince Frederick Dental Center located at 230 W. Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, Md. for a reported stolen auto. The victim said that between 7:45 am and 2:30 pm, unknown suspect(s) stole his 1994 Lexus from the parking lot of his business. There are no suspects at this time.
Destruction of Property
On May 9th, 2005 at 4:00 pm, Cpl. Hurlock responded to the Solomons Landing Sales Office in Solomons, Md. for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) damage the entrance gate to the community. There are no suspects at this time.
Theft
On May 10th, 2005 at 11:30 am, Deputy Bell responded to Chessies restaurant located at 3875 Old Town Road, Huntingtown, Md. for a theft call. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) broke into the candy machine located in front of the store. The suspect(s) stole the money and candy from the machine. There are no suspects at this time.
Destruction of Property
On May 12th, 2005 at 2:40 pm, Deputy Childress responded to the area of 9th Street and Erie Ave., North Beach, Md. for a reported destruction of property. A witness said he observed three juveniles throwing eggs at parked vehicles. He pointed out the house the juveniles ran to. The three were located and charged on a youth report with Destruction of Property. They were released to their parents.
Auto Theft
On May 13th, 2005 at 7:45 am, the victim responded to the Calvert County Sheriffs Office to report his 2000 Jeep Cherokee had been stolen from a driveway located in the 2600 block of Hallowing Point Rd., Prince Frederick, Md. He said he parked his vehicle at approximately 10:00 pm on May 12th, 2005 and notice at 6:30 am, on May 13th, 2005 that his Jeep was gone. The Jeep is Charcoal Gray with Va. Registration YXS 9893. Deputy Burggraff is investigation.
Destruction of Property
On May 13th, 2005 at 10:15 am, Deputy Burggraff responded to the Calvert Village Shopping Center for a reported destruction of property. The complainant said during the evening hours of May 10th, 2005 unknown suspect(s) climbed on to the roof of the shopping center and spray painted graffiti on the walls and Air Conditioning Equipment located on the roof. Investigation continues.
Theft
On May 13th, 2005 at 3:05 pm, Dfc Foote responded to Chesapeake Collision located at 2300 Solons Island Road, Huntingtown Md. for a reported theft. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the victims vehicle and removed four speakers. There are no suspects at this time.
Burglary
On May 14th, 2005 at 11:56 am, Dfc Foote responded to the 11000 block of Maplewood Drive Dunkirk, Md. for a reported burglary. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) removed the lock from his shed and removed tools and lawn maintenance equipment. Investigation continues.
Destruction of Property
On May 14th, 2005 at 12:53 pm, Deputy Ward responded to the 13000 of Port Lane in Lusby, Md. for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) used an unknown object to shatter a basement window on the house. There are no suspects at this time.
