Assault
On 5/11/05 Deputy Rishel responded to the area of Piney Point, Maryland for a reported Assault. Investigation revealed victim Daniel Evans was assaulted by Carol Evans during a domestic altercation. Both parties were advised of procedures for obtaining criminal charges and/or protective orders.
Driving While Intoxicated
On 5/11/05 Deputy M. Pesante initiated a vehicle stop because the occupants were not using their seat belts. Upon making contact with the driver, John Matthew Garner, age 20, of Lexington Park, Maryland Deputy Pesante detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Mr. Garner. Mr. Garner failed the administered Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest. Mr. Garner refused the Breath Alyzer Test and was incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
Driving While Intoxicated
On 5/12/05 Dfc. D. Poole initiated a vehicle stop in reference to a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the operator, Jason R. Davis, age 20, Scotland, Maryland, Dfc. Poole detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from Mr. Davis' person. Mr. Davis failed the administered Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest. Mr. Davis was administered a Breath Alyzer Test with a test result above the legal limit under Maryland Law. He was subsequently incarcerated in the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
Warrant Service
On 05/12/05 three District Court Warrants were served on Andre A. Montgomery, age 26, of Lexington Park, Maryland for Failure to Appear in District Court. Montgomery was incarcerated in the Detention Center under No Bond.
