Theft

On April 26th, 2005 at 2:48 pm, Deputy Gatton responded to the Calvert Career Center, located on Dares Beach Rd., Prince Frederick, Md. for a reported theft. A student at the career center left his cell phone in his unlocked locker during class. After class he discovered the phone was missing. There are no suspects at this time.

CDS Violation

On April 29th, 2005 at 1:58 am, Deputy Milam and Deputy M. Jones conducted a traffic stop on Md. Rt. 2 in the area of Md. Rt. 4. Based on observations made during the stop, Deputy Milam arrested the driver for DUI. A search of the vehicle and its occupants by Deputy M. Jones revealed three small baggies containing suspected cocaine, two small bottles of suspected PCP and three non-conventional smoking devices. Michele E. Burdette 41 years old of Upper Marlboro, Md. was charged with possession of PCP and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Tracey R. Gilbert 34 years old of Huntingtown, Md. was charged with possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia. They were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

Disorderly Conduct

On April 29th, 2005 at 11:31 am, Deputy Bonville responded to the 300 block of White Sands Dr. Lusby, Md. a possible domestic dispute. Upon his arrival the suspect, Judith V. Chambers, 37 years old of Lusby, Md. was in the driveway screaming and yelling profanities. She was told to stop yelling but refused. She was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

Destruction of Property/CDS Violation/Theft

On April 29th, 2005 at 1:38 pm, Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriffs office responded to the Prince Frederick Safeway for a reported destruction of property in progress. Investigation revealed the suspect; Romona A. Brown of Forestville, Md. was in the Safeway when a member of management approached her. She became disorderly and threw a shopping basket on the floor and ran toward the front door. As she left the store she pulled over a display case of bottled Starbucks Frappuccino, causing 35 bottles to be damaged. She left the shopping center parking lot in a black Ford. The car was located in the Chapline Place Shopping Center parked behind the Regional Eye Care Center. The suspect was found hiding in the restroom of the Eye Care Center. She was arrested and placed in the front seat of Sheriffs Office Unit 3646. Her vehicle was stored and an inventory was conducted. A baggie containing suspected marijuana was located. While in Unit 3646 the suspect picked up Dfc Phelps cell phone and made a call without permission, the cost of the minutes used was 70 cents. Ms. Brown was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where she was charged with Destruction of Property, Possession of CDS, and Theft.

Theft

On April 30th, 2005 at 3:52 pm, Deputy Windsor conducted a traffic stop on Power Drive Lusby, Md. A computer check of the vehicle revealed the tags on the vehicle had been reported stolen. The driver, Kevin W. Chapman 30 years old of St. Leonard, Md. was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Theft.

May 1st, 2005, Larry E. Brown, 44 yoa by Dfc Wilson
