Chesapeake Beach, MD -April 29th, 2005
On April 28th, 2005 at 3:05 pm, Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriffs Office responded to Md. Rt. 261 north of Christiana Parran Road Chesapeake Beach, Md. for a motor vehicle crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 1998 Ford Explorer, driven by William Anthony Fale Jr. 39 years old of Chesapeake Beach, Md., was traveling north on Md. Rt. 261. The Explorer crossed the center double yellow lines and struck a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. William Fale Jr. was ejected from the Ford. Shirley J. Schellin, 69 years old of Chesapeake Beach, Md. was driving the Chevrolet Blazer. William Fale Jr. and Shirley Schellin were transported to Prince Georges Shock Trauma where William Fale Jr. died as a result of his injuries. There is no word on Ms. Schellins condition at this time.
Alcohol may have been a factor in this crash. Dfc Selkirk, Dfc Wilson and Dfc Phelps are investigating the crash.
