Public Hearing on Lexington Park Development District Master Plan Recommended Draft Set for May 17
The St. Mary's County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Center Hall of the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, located at 44219 Airport Road in California, Maryland, to receive public comments on the Planning Commission Recommended Draft Lexington Park Development District Master Plan. The draft plan is a blueprint for development to occur in the Lexington Park, California, and Great Mills areas. It also guides zoning and road location decisions.
The public is invited to participate and submit comments. Staff will provide a brief overview of the planning process. Copies of the draft document are available to the public at each public library within the county, at the Public Information Office located at 23115 Leonard Hall Drive, Leonardtown, Maryland, and for viewing or downloading through links on the St. Mary's County Government web page:
