Destruction of Property

On April 11th, 2005 at 5:37 am, Deputy Ward responded to the 5600 block of Long Beach Drive, St. Leonard, Md. for a reported Destruction of Property. Investigation revealed an unknown object had shattered the front passengers side window of the victim’s vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.


Trespassing

On April 11th, 2005 at 4:36 pm, Dfc Wilson responded to the 8700 block of David Lane, Chesapeake Beach, Md. for a reported trespassing. The victim reported that the juvenile suspect had walked through her yard after being told not to do so. The juvenile was contacted and charged with trespassing on a youth report. The juvenile was released to a parent.


Theft

On April 14th, 2005 at 10:54 pm, Deputy Windsor responded to the 11000 block of Durango Drive Lusby, Md. for a report of a theft. The victim said unknown person(s) removed her wallet from her vehicle that was parked in front of her home. There are no suspects at this time.


Indecent Exposure/Fleeing and Eluding

On April 15th, 2005 at 2:39 pm, Deputy M. Jones observed a juvenile male walking nude through a wooded area in Lusby, Md. The suspect was order to stop but refused and began to run through the woods. Deputy Jones gave chase and was able to apprehend the suspect after a short foot pursuit. The juvenile was charged on a youth report with Indecent Exposure and Fleeing and Eluding. He was released to his mother.


Destruction of Property

On April 15th, 2005 at 8:07 pm, Sgt Koehn responded to the 12000 block of El Segundo Lane, Lusby, Md. for a reported destruction of property. He met with the victim who said her son was in his room destroying property. Sgt Koehn entered the bedroom and saw that the juvenile had destroyed his television, his stereo system and other miscellaneous items. He was taken into custody and charged with destruction of property on a youth report. He was released to his mother.


CDS Violation

On April 15th, 2005 at 8:45 pm, Cpl. Moschetto and Sgt Soper were on Mountain bike patrol in the Solomons Island area. A strong odor of suspected marijuana was detected coming from a vehicle that was parked in the lot across from Catamarans. A search of the vehicle and its passengers was conducted. A small baggie containing suspected cocaine, a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana, and a pill bottle containing 8 suspect Percocets were located in the vehicle. A search of the occupants revealed a folded $1.00 bill containing suspected cocaine and a plastic baggie also containing suspected cocaine.

Joseph W. Murphy 24 years old of Baltimore, Md., Matthew F. Mobley 25 years old of Baltimore Md., Enrique I. Rosas 26 years old of Baltimore Md., and James B. Honsberger 27 years old of Baltimore Md., were placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where they were charged with possession of CDS.


Disorderly/CDS Violation

On April 16th, 2005 at 1:00 am, Deputy M. Robshaw responded to the area of Catamarans Restaurant for a disorderly call. He observed two male suspects being detained by Correctional officer Wells and Cpl. Cross. Investigation revealed the suspects had been fighting on a county bus. Christopher M. Warren 25 years old of Silver Spring, Md. and Michael W. McDermott Jr. 24 years old of Lothian, Md. were arrested for disorderly conduct. A search incident to arrest revealed baggie of suspected marijuana in McDermott’s pocket. Both suspects were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where Warren was charged with disorderly conduct and McDermott was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of CDS.


CDS Violation

On April 16th, 2005 at 8:50 pm, Cpl Moschetto observed a vehicle parked in a “No Parking Zone” in front of the Oyster House, Solomons Island, Md. He made contact with the vehicle occupant, based on observations made at the scene a K-9 scan was conducted of the vehicle. Tfc Keen advised K-9 “Mickey” alerted on the passenger side door. A search of the car revealed a non-conventional smoking devise containing suspected crack cocaine residue and a clear plastic wrapper containing suspected powder cocaine residue. Jean M Majovski 40 years old of Lexington Park, Md. was placed under arrest and charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.


Destruction of Property

On April 17th, 2005 at 8:17 am, Deputy Brown responded to the 8900 block of Erie Ave., North Beach, Md. for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed an unknown suspect(s) slashed one tire on the victim’s truck. There are no suspects at this time.


CDS Violation

On April 17th, 2005 at 1:42 pm, Deputy Brown conducted a traffic stop on 9th Street and Greenwood Ave., North Beach, Md. Based on observations made during the stop a search of the occupants and the vehicle were conducted. A small box containing suspected marijuana was located in the pants pocket of one of the occupants. A plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana was located between the front driver’s seat and the center console. The two juveniles were placed under arrest and charged with possession of CDS on a youth report and released to their parents.


Debris in the Roadway

On April 18th, 2005 at 7:45 am, Dfc Selkirk responded to the Benedict Bridge for a large piece of debris in the roadway. He found a large spool of metal cable was blocking the bridge. A SMECO boom truck was in the area and came to Dfc Selkirk’s assistance. The truck operator was able to position his truck and use the boom to lift the spool and place it in a State Roads dump truck and removed from the area. Thanks to the SMECO employees the roadway was reopened with 30 minutes.
