St. Mary's County Police Reports


On 04/08/05 DFC Patrick Handy observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Longfields Blvd. DFC Handy stopped the vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle the driver removed an item from the sun visor and leaned over to place the item on the floor under the seat. DFC Handy identified the driver as Michael Dalnel Holt, 31 of Lexington Park. A license check revealed that his license was suspended in the state of Maryland. A search incident to his arrest revealed a small plastic bag containing 5 rocks of crack cocaine. Holt was arrested for driving while suspended and possession of CDS-Crack cocaine. He was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

On 04/05/05 DFC Eric S. Walker served a criminal summons on Marcell Davon Blackiston, 19 of Lexington Park. The criminal summons charges Blackiston with Assault 2nd degree on Marcus Courtney. The summons alleges that Blackiston struck Marcus Courtney in the back causing an injury.

On 04/05/05 DFC Eric S. Walker served a criminal summons on Robin Denise Blackistone, 37 of Lexington Park. The summons charges her with assault 2nd degree on Mark D. Courtney. The summons alleges that she struck Courtney in the head with a hammer.

On 04/09/05 DFC Emory Johnson served a criminal summons on James Richard Goddard, 25 of Leonardtown. The criminal summons charges Goddard with Assault 2nd degree. The summons was obtained by DFC Johnson, his investigation revealed on 03/27/05 Kimberly P. Hancock and Goddard had a dispute which turned physical with Goddard striking Kimberly P. Hancock in the head with a fist.

On 04/09/05 Deputy Eva Snyder served a criminal summons on Blanche Ellen Johnson, 40 of Lexington Park. The criminal summons charges Johnson with 2nd degree assault. The charges were obtained by Faith Gross and allege that Johnson assaulted a 14 year old female at Missouri Avenue.

On 04/09/05 DFC Emory Johnson served a criminal summons on Craig Joseph Denham, 29 of Mechanicsville. The summons charges Denham with assault 2nd degree. The summons was obtained by Matthew Hiner based upon the incident reported on 04/02/05 in which Hiner assaulted Denham following an incident at Arby's in Charlotte Hall.

On 04/10/05 SDFC Diane Thompson served a criminal summons on Dawn Renee Willey, 22 of Mechanicsville. The summons charges Willey with m writing a bad check. The summons charges that on or about August 19, 2004 Willey obtained goods and services from Food Lion to the value of $215.00 by writing a bad check.

On 04/09/05 DFC Stephen Myers served a criminal summons on Lynne Prenatt Molina, 43 of Great Mills. The summons charges Molina with writing a bad check. The summons charges that on or about November 12, 2004 Molina obtained goods and services from St. Mary's County Public Schools by writing a bad check.

On 04/09/05 DFC Michael A. Labanowski responded to Whites Neck Road for reported property destructions. DFC Labanowski's investigation revealed that between midnight and 0800 unknown culprits bashed numerous mailboxes and pulled signs from driveways and yards.

On 04/09/05 DFC Michael A. Labanowski responded to the area of Breton Bay for reported property destructions. It was reported that between midnight and 0800 unknown persons were using paint ball guns to shoot at houses and vehicles parked in driveways.

On 04/10/05 DFC Frank Fowler responding to a lookout for an unauthorized use located the vehicle on Rt. 5 Charlotte Hall. He stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver James William Blackiston was the suspect. DFC Michael Labanowski responded to assist. DFC Labanowski charged the driver, James William Blackiston, 38 of Leonardtown with Driving While Suspended and with Criminal Unauthorized use. He was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

On 04/1/05 DFC Emory Johnson served a criminal summons on Jason Steven Holt. The summons charges Jason Steven Holt, 23 of Charlotte Hall with obtaining goods and services from D.J.'s One Stop by writing a bad check in the amount of $29.73.

On 04/10/05 DFC Patrick Handy investigated a property destruction. It was reported by William Conner of Lexington Park that unknown persons slashed the tires on his 2001 Toyota Corolla while in his driveway.

On 04/10/05 Deputy Eva F. Snyder investigated a property destruction. It was reported by Agnes Pauline MacRae of Lexington Park that unknown suspects spread food products and spread toothpaste on the door of the vicitms 2002 black Ford Explorer.

On 04/10/05 DFC Patrick Handy and DFC Charles Earle responded to a reported assault. It was reported by several juveniles that while playing near the K-Mart a white male emerged from an abandoned shed and threatened them with a knife. The fled and contacted an off-duty officer who lived nearby. The officer began radioing a lookout and a location of the suspect. After a short search the suspect was located in an abandoned shed near K-Mart. The suspect Willard Preston Jones, 42 of no fixed address was charged with 2nd degree assault and Displaying a Deadly Weapon w/intent to Injure. He was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

On 04/10/05 DFC Charles Earle and Deputy Jay Kirkner and other members of the Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Chancellors Run Road near Norris Road. Deputy Kirkner's investigation revealed that vehicle #1 being driven by Andrew Thomas Kenney was northbound on Chancellors Run Road when he failed to slow for a vehicle that had stopped for a vehicle turning. Vehicle #1 struck Vehicle #2 being driven by Jennifer Bowman, then crossed the centerline and struck 2005 Nissan Titan pickup truck being driven by Jimmy Glen Rickert. Members of the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded to extricate Thomas Kenney from his 2000 Ford Ranger. Once he was extricated from the vehicle Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad transported him to Trooper 2 where he was flown to Prince Georges County Shock Trauma. Jennifer Bowman was not injured, Jimmy Rickert and Jody Rickert were transported to St. Mary's Hospital where they were treated.

On 04/11/05 DFC Emory Johnson served a warrant on Tina Marie Arndt, 41 of Chaptico. The warrant obtained by DFC Johnson charges Arndt with violating an Ex-Parte Order that is in effect and prohibits her from harassing or contacting Michael Arndt. Tina Arndt was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.

On 04/11/05 DFC Stephen Myers served a warrant on Joanna (NMN) Duckett, 45 of Leonardtown. The warrant obtained by Jackie Perkins of Lexington Park. The warrant alleges on 040805 Joanna Duckett assaulted Jackie Perkins by pulling her hair and pushing her face first onto the concrete sidewalk scarring her face.
