St. Mary's: Crack Cocaine Arrests


Sheriff's Office Deputies Charles Earle and John Logalbo were on patrol in the Valley Drive area of Lexington Park when they encountered Suspect Gregory Martese Colbert. The Officers were in the area working through a CSAFE Grant that had been obtained by the Sheriff's Office. Officers were conducting surveillance which included observing Suspect Colbert selling Cocaine. Suspect Colbert was approached and was found to have a large knife, 11.6 grams of Crack Cocaine and several other persons identification on his person. He was taken into custody and is currently awaiting a hearing before the District Court Commissioner. Suspect Colbert is 18 years of age and resides in Fort Washington, Maryland. The street value of the Crack Cocaine is more than $1,100.00.

Dfc. Harold D. Young located a Suspect that fit the description of an individual several Detectives were attempting to apprehend. Suspect Jonathan Adrian Marshall was stopped to be questioned and began acting nervous. It was at that time the Suspect attempted to discard a quantity of Crack Cocaine. A struggle ensued and Dfc. Young was able to gain control of Suspect Marshall and safely recovered the Crack Cocaine. A further computer search revealed open charges pending on Suspect Marshall for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. He was transported to the Detention Center to await a hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
