Vehicle Vandalized in Sunderland; CDS Violations in Calvert County


Destruction of Property

On March 20th, 2005 at 3:28 pm, Cpl. Bomgardner responded to the Sunderland Park and Ride for a reported destruction of property. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) used an unknown object to destroy the passenger’s side window of a vehicle. It did not appear anything in the vehicle had been disturbed. There are no suspects at this time.

CDS Violation

On March 21st, 2005 at 3:49 pm, Cpl. Moschetto conducted a traffic stop on Md. Rt. 4 in the area of Md. Rt. 231. Dfc Aurich and K-9 Bean, conducted a scan of the vehicle. Bean alerted to the presence of CDS. A search of the car revealed a plastic bag containing 12 individually wrapped pieces of suspected crack cocaine. Based on the search, all of the vehicle occupants were placed under arrest. David P. Jones 37 years old of Hollywood, Md., Michael D. Holt 31 years old of Lexington Park, Md. and Sonia (nmn) Piccini 50 years old of No fixed address, were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where they were charged with possession of CDS and possession with the intent to distribute.

CDS Violation

On March 22nd, 2005 at 5:10 pm, Dfc. Wilson conducted a traffic stop on Md. Rt. 261 in the area of Mears Ave. Chesapeake Beach, Md. A consent search of the vehicle was conducted and a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana was located between the driver’s door and the driver’s seat. Zachary X. Greynolds 18 years old of Chesapeake Beach, Md. was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with possession of CDS.

Destruction of Property

On March 22nd, 2005 at 9:00 pm, Dfc Wilson responded to the 8100 block of Deer Chase Lane, Chesapeake Beach, Md. for destruction of property. Investigation revealed the suspect, Crystal A. Burger 26 years old of Lothian, Md. rammed the victim’s vehicle with her car causing damage to the rear bumper of the victim’s vehicle. Burger was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention where she was charged with destruction of property.

CDS Violation

On March 26th, 2005 at 10:41 pm, Dfc. Gregory was conducting a patrol check at Driftwood Beach, Lusby, Md. He saw a white passenger car and observed the back seat passenger attempt to hide something. He approached the car and detected an odor of burnt marijuana. Investigation revealed the rear passenger, a juvenile, was in possession of CDS. The juvenile was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff’s Office. The juvenile was charged with possession of CDS on a youth report and released to a parent.

CDS Violation

On March 27th, 2005 at 8:48 pm, Deputy Ward responded to the end of Gringo Road, Lusby, Md. for a reported CDS violation. He observed someone run from a vehicle and the vehicle attempt to leave the area. He activated his emergency equipment and conducted a traffic stop on the car. He detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search of the car revealed small plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana. The driver, Tyler E. Nagers 18 years old of St. Leonard, Md. was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with possession of CDS.
