The St. Mary's County Board of Commissioners and the Department of Aging TRIAD/S.A.L.T. Council (Seniors and Lawmen Working Together), cordially invite the public to attend the Fifth Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Ceremony on Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at 11:30 a.m., on the Governmental Center Lawn in Leonardtown.
The event will include a memorial service for Law Enforcement Officers who have perished in the line of duty over the years and a special salute to the Law Enforcement Agencies and their officers for outstanding service to the community. "Officers of the Year" selected by each agency also will be recognized at the ceremony.
