On 03/27/05 Officers from the Sheriff's Office responded to Missouri Avenue for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival a large crowd was found gathered in the street acting in a disorderly manner. The investigation revealed that Faith Gross was acting in a disorderly manner and had assaulted DFC Earl Young when he tried to get the crowd to disperse. She was arrested by DFC Patrick handy and charged with 2nd degree assault and disorderly conduct. Further investigation revealed that two female juveniles had assaulted another juvenile earlier and that instigated the disorderly crowd. The juveniles were located and charged by Deputy Eva Snyder with Assault 2nd degree. The juveniles were released to a relative. Faith Gross was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
On 03/28/05 Deputy Eva Snyder served bench warrants on Walter Jerry English. The bench warrants charge English with Failure to appear on Child Abuse Charges, Failure to Appear for sentencing and a Writ of Body Attachment. English is being held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending his appearance in Circuit Court.
