Stabbing in Lusby


On March 18th, 2005 at 5:30 pm, Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Office responded to the 400 block of Chestnut Drive Lusby, Md. for a reported assault. Investigation revealed the victim; a 73-year-old man from Lusby, Md. had been stabbed in the lower abdomen. Charles Edward Buck, 64 years old of Lusby, Md. was developed as a suspect and was located at his residence in Lusby, Md.

Buck was taken in to custody without incident and was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with 1st Degree Assault.

The victim was flown to the Prince George's County Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Sgt Naughton of the Calvert Investigative Team is investigating this case.
