Burglary

On March 7th, 2005 at 4:54 pm, Deputy Ward responded to the 200 block of Harbor Road Lusby, Md. for a reported burglary. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's garage and removed a handgun that was being stored there. There are no suspects at this time

CDS Violation

On March 7th, 2005 at 5:45 pm, Deputy Ward observed a juvenile standing in the area of Barreda Blvd. and Dogwood Drive Lusby, Md. Deputy Ward had received information that the juvenile had been selling CDS from that location. Deputy Ward made contact with the juvenile and a consent search was conducted. The search revealed a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana. The juvenile was placed under arrest and charged with possession of CDS on a youth report. The juvenile was released to a parent.

Theft

On March 8th, 2005 at 6:45 pm, Cpl. Hurlock responded to the 500 block of Bafford Road Lusby, Md. for a reported theft. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) remove the victim's handgun from a bag located under the front seat of his vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry on the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.

CDS Violation

On March 9th, 2005 at 10:07 am, Deputy Milam conducted a traffic stop on Md. Rt. 2/4 in the area of Whispering Drive Prince Frederick, Md. A computer check of the tags revealed they were issued to another vehicle. The operator also had what appeared to be an altered Driver's License. Dfc Gregory and his K-9 partner, Robby, responded to the scene and conducted a K-9 scan. K-9 Robby gave a positive response for the scent of CDS. A search of the vehicle was conducted and suspected marijuana was located on the front passenger's side floorboard. A hand rolled cigarette containing suspected marijuana was found on the rear passenger's side floorboard.
The operator of the vehicle, Angela M. Simon, 20 years old of Lusby, Md. and the passenger Michael S. Kimble, 24 years old of Lusby, Md. were placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where they were charged with possession of CDS.

Burglary

On March 9th, 2005 at 5:00 pm, Dfc Parsons responded to 400 block of Bafford Road Lusby, Md. for a reported burglary. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered a vacant trailer and appeared to use it as a place to sleep. It did not appear anything was missing. There are no suspects at this time.

Theft

On March 9th, 2005 at 8:33 pm, Deputy Ward responded to the 6000 block of Hillside Road St. Leonard, Md. for a reported theft. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the victim's home by unknown means and removed a quantity of prescription medication. There are no suspects at this time.
