SMCPS Program of Studies

The St. Mary's County Public Schools High School and Middle School Program of Studies are currently being reviewed. These documents identify the high school graduation requirements and provide descriptions of all courses offered in the school system at the high school and middle school levels. The Board of Education is hosting an information session and would like to invite parent/guardian and community input regarding the proposed changes to the Program of Studies.

The public information session will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2004, 5:30-7 p.m., in the Board of Education Meeting Room, 23160 Moakley Street, Leonardtown, MD 20650. Supervisors of instruction will be available to explain proposed changes and to respond to questions. The public is encouraged to submit feedback by mail to the Board of Education at P.O. Box 641, Leonardtown, MD 20650. For more information, please contact Dr. Charles Ridgell, director of secondary curriculum and instruction, at 301-475-5511.
